Maui

 We decided to take a week long trip to Maui with Scott's super cheap Hawaiian Airlines buddy passes and leave the kids at home. Scott and Wendi and Erin and Dallas met us there. It sure was fun! Matt found this heart rock near a blow hole we explored.

 This gelato shop was next to the condo we stayed at. We went there many times!

 Our last day in Maui just the two of us. We checked out a bunch of beaches and just chilled watching the sunset. This was at Big Beach.

Maui was awesome, we can't wait to go back someday!

First Day of School

Chin Chins

 Our new pets are these two Chinchillas we took in from a family that was moving. They are brothers and you can't really tell them apart unless they are right next to each other. We named them Chico and Rigby and call them the Chin Chins.

 They are SO soft! Softer than velvet. And they are so sweet and quiet. I just love their little hands. They like raisins for treats and will hold it in their hand like a banana and take bites until it's gone.

 Today they are enjoying the outdoors while their cage is getting cleaned.

Ocean Shores

 We decided to enjoy the last few days of summer by going to the beach house at Ocean Shores. Nathan and Cole Mitchell came with us and we had a great time.

 Even though the water is always a little chilly at Ocean Shores, the boys were eager to do some skim boarding. Having Nathan and Cole Mitchell along made it even more fun.
